CUPE packages Sid Ryan
On March 3, Ontario CUPE president Sid Ryan joined striking members of Local 855 in a march on City Hall to return what their president Lyn Edwards has called 'propaganda packages'. The packages were received by the more than 400 inside and outside workers early Saturday morning, the day before they voted to reject the City's latest contract offer. This marks the fifth week of picketing by municipal workers, who walked off the job on Feb. 4.
